Hi beautiful,

I am so excited to welcome you to this program. You have just taken the first step in changing your life forever.

This program is about shifting your mindset and behaviour around food and nutrition. My aim is to empower you with the tools to maintain a balanced, healthy lifestyle – for life. This is not about quick fixes or extremes. It’s about giving up fad dieting, calorie counting and obsessing over your weight. I want to help you commit to a healthy, sustainable way of eating. I have combined principles from the Health at every size movement (HAES), intuitive eating program, mindful eating and non-diet approach to help you achieve the following over the next 10 weeks:

  • Stop fad dieting
  • Eat slowly and mindfully
  • Eat whole, unprocessed foods
  • Learn to cook quick and delicious meals
  • Stay hydrated
  • Be kind to your body
  • Allow time for rest
  • Manage your stress
  • Move your body in ways that you love
  • Practice gratitude and positive affirmations

This week is a preparation week to make sure you have everything ready to start your transformation.

To get started, make yourself a cup of tea and sit down to read through Principles 1 to 4. Print and read the documents under resources a few times, you will need this during the next 10 weeks. My advice is to use the next few days to prepare your mind, body and kitchen!

Join us at the Facebook support group to make sure you can interact with like-minded people going through the same journey as you. Please introduce yourself and do not hesitate to ask for tips and motivation.

Ps: Although here are some great tips and recipes in this program, my main aim is to give you freedom to love yourself and give yourself permission to eat. I know you are doing the best you can so please do not add unnecessary stress on yourself. Rather grow into the principles and make small changes as you work through the program. I do not want to add another set of diet rules to your life. Work through the principles and incorporate it into your life as you see fit. You can always go back and work through the principles again if you are not ready to completely do it the first time around. Remember to be gentle with yourself. The key to success is consistent small changes over a great period of time.
